I was terrified when my newly graduated son and his friends got back from Europe and told me what they had been up to. I thought that they were going to Europe and staying in hostels and hotels, they gave me the names of the places that they thought they would be staying in and I checked them out using my clear internet service greensboro. I made sure that the places and good reviews on Trip Advisor and that they would be safe, but left the booking up to the kids. After all, with a bunch of boys, the itinerary is subject to change at a whim, depending on the “girl scene”. It turns out that several times they ended up “couch surfing”. I had no idea what that meant. They logged onto a website where individuals offered an extra bedroom or a couch for free. They would let you stay at their place because they liked to meet new people and hang out. The kids had a great time and I am seriously just glad that they are alive! I guess they knew what they should and shouldn’t tell me!
